Job description

Overview

The Associate Finance Manager FP&A, Strategy and Performance contributes to PepsiCo Beverages Canada’s success by acting as an integral part of the Canadian Finance team. This position supports business strategy, leads the Strategic Financial Plan and Annual Operating Plan processes, and proactively monitors business trends to identify risks and opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development of the financial strategic plan, annual operating plan, and target setting
  • Communicate and report results to U.S. senior management, including period reporting templates and scorecards, requiring an understanding of PBC business drivers
  • Lead PBC performance management process, coordinating updates focused on Net Revenue, MC, and NOPBT targets, involving Finance and Sales functions
  • Participate in strategic projects such as Intangible Assessments, Capabilities Assessments, Customer Analyses, Category Mapping, M&A Valuations, and Competitor Research
  • Work with the Senior Manager – FP&A to improve strategic development approaches
  • Lead PBC Roadmap to Success, setting and updating progress on company initiatives and providing feedback to teams and leadership
  • Prepare and deliver executive presentations with insightful content
  • Partner with functional groups across Canada to ensure consistent internal reporting messaging
  • Manage direct reports including Sr. Financial Analyst – Concentrate and Gatorade, and dotted line reports like Finance Analyst: Reporting & Analytics
Qualifications
  • University degree in Business required
  • Professional Designation: MBA / CMA / CPA (asset)
  • Experience in CPG industry preferred
  • Strong collaboration, influencing, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional technical, problem-solving, planning, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Experience in analyzing and forecasting Profit and Loss results
