Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking an Associate, Technology & Operations Business Management to lead financial analysis, reporting, and strategic planning within the Strategy & Operations team. You will drive cost optimization and support the development of multi-year plans and quarterly forecasts.

You will partner with senior leaders across departments, apply zero-based budgeting, and deliver data-driven insights to improve processes and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or a related field.
• CPA designation considered an asset
• 5+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, strategy or operations

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop reporting and trend analysis to support decision making.
• Foster partnerships with departments and senior leadership to achieve business goals.
• Coordinate three-year financial plans and quarterly forecasts with a zero-based budgeting mindset.
• Analyze organizational processes, systems, and financial data to identify improvements and opportunities for growth.
• Track departmental objective progress and create summaries for senior audiences.
• Coordinate requirements gathering and provide testing support for new departmental systems and tools.
• Project work and ad-hoc duties as required.

Ourclientisa pension plan investment company.As an Associate, Technology & Operations Business Management you will lead independent pieces of work that contribute to key deliverables and initiatives for your department, including supporting operational and financial activities. You will also help provide strategic recommendations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business as usual activities and special projects.The Strategy & Operations (S&O) team within the Technology & Operations (T&O) department plays a pivotal role in the financial and workforce management of the department. Our team is accountable for the planning,executionand oversight of financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financialreviewsand cost optimization.

About the Opportunity

About You

• UniversityBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis,strategyor operations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships effectively with people at all levels.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.

Salary Range

$120,000 - $140,000/year
