Role Summary

We are seeking a Facilities Coordinator, AV & Communications Specialist to manage all audio/visual needs for meetings and events, oversee maintenance and repairs of AV and digital equipment at the GTA Campus, and support facilities operations, including guest services and mail center functions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan, execute, and evaluate meetings and events, including setup, registration, and post-event analysis.
  2. Provide detailed metrics and reports for clients, including call reports and Q&A transcripts.
  3. Develop and adhere to SOPs, ensuring comprehensive event documentation and analysis.
  4. Partner with internal teams to design and implement digital messaging and signage.
  5. Manage AV equipment inventory, perform troubleshooting, and coordinate with vendors for maintenance.
  6. Support digital and hybrid event setups, including technical direction and on-site support.
  7. Assist in facilities management, including maintenance, security, and vendor coordination.
  8. Respond to security incidents and manage access controls following protocols.
  9. Provide excellent customer service, support client inquiries, and participate in safety training.
  10. Handle mail processing and maintain office supplies and equipment.
  11. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • College-level education or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with virtual conferencing tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Cisco equipment).
  • Understanding of signal pathways for local workstations and multi-display setups.
  • At least 2 years of experience in facilities, project management, or related fields.

Compensation and Benefits
