At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we’re hiring an Associate Engagement Manager to team with AWS consultants, partner, and client teams. Engagement Managers manage the delivery of AWS cloud products and services that enable our customers to realize their business objectives. These professional services engagements focus on the full platform of AWS customer solutions to help our customers and partners remove constraints and accelerate their journey to AWS.
You will join as part of the AWS Professional Services (ProServe Associate to Consultant (A2C), which focuses on the accelerated career development of university graduates and early career professionals. Our team members work with enterprise customers locally, regionally, and domestically. As such, this role has up to 75% travel associated.

AWS Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base and are obsessed about strong success for the Customer. Our consultants will develop and deliver proof-of-concept projects, technical workshops, and support implementation projects. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs.
You will also have the opportunity to create white papers, writing blogs, build demos and other reusable collateral that can be used by our customers. Most importantly, you will work closely with our Solution Architects, Data Scientists and Service Engineering teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or STEM (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, etc.) with a graduation date between May 2023 to July 2025
• 1+ years experience assisting in project delivery.
• 1+ years experience managing tasks, risk/issue of a project.
• Understands the value proposition of the public cloud.
• Understands agile frameworks and the software development lifecycle (practical or academic experience).
• Master’s degree in Business, Project Management, or STEM (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, etc.)
• Experience assisting in the delivery of cloud, software, or emerging technologies (IoT, Blockchain, AI/ML) projects.
• Evidence of on-going education through certifications or training.
• Understands the value proposition of the public cloud.
• AWS experience and certifications.
• Managed technical projects consisting of 4 or more people totaling over $100,000 budget.
• Managed and delivered IT project for a Fortune 500 company.
• Managed projects using both Waterfall and Agile/Iterative methodologies.
• Experience with Agile and Project Management (APM) tool-sets (Jira, RallyDev, VersionOne, Taiga, etc.).
