What to Expect
- Lead and mentor a team of field veterinarians to support Cattle and Equine products with technical and medical expertise
- Collaborate with sales and key accounts to enhance client engagement and optimize sales effectiveness
- Set strategic objectives and manage departmental budgets and resources effectively
- Provide medical and technical leadership within the Cattle & Equine business
- Contribute to product launch plans and training programs for internal and external stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) required
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical veterinary experience
- Minimum of 5 years in industry roles involving technical services, medical marketing, or veterinary operations
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and budgets
- Must have an active or be eligible for a provincial veterinary license in good standing
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Postgraduate training or specialization in cattle or equine medicine
- Experience in strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence diverse audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with clinical research and scientific literature review
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
