Qualifications

Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Policy & Government Relations, you will be responsible for leading our Company's stakeholder relations and vaccines public health engagement in Ontario. Collaborating with your government relations, medical affairs and market access colleagues, you will monitor, manage, and influence aspects of provincial public health policies and public reimbursement impacting our company's current and anticipated immunization priorities.

Your responsibilities as Associate Director, Vaccines Public Health Policy for Ontario :

  • Codevelop and implement regional strategies and tactics to secure and maintain reimbursement for our Company's vaccines portfolio.
  • Establish, and maintain relationships with government stakeholders, policy makers, influencers, patient associations and healthcare stakeholders in Ontario.
  • Evaluate the impact of regional public health policy trends and initiatives on our Company's immunization portfolio with respect to access, reimbursement, and business overall.
  • Develop and maintain expertise on public reimbursement strategies, recommendations and decision-making processes for vaccines.
  • Liaise with regional industry associations and represent our Company's on topics relevant to immunization policy, access and reimbursement.
Ideal Candidate

You Are The Ideal Candidate If You

  • Hold a university degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Have five years of relevant vaccines public health policy experience in the healthcare / pharmaceutical sector.
  • Thorough understanding of the Ontario health care system, infectious disease and immunization environments.
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills (English mandatory; French an asset).
  • Ability to build credible relationships, trust and influence a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Have strong negotiation and diplomatic skills.
  • Have exceptional judgment, strong problem-solving, decision making and project management skills.
  • Must be located in Ontario and available to travel within Canada (up to 25%).

Vous êtes le (la) candidat (e) idéal (e) si vous :

  • Êtes titulaire d'un diplôme de baccalauréat ou de maîtrise dans une discipline pertinente
  • Possédez cinq ans d'expérience pertinente en politiques de santé publique vaccinale dans le secteur de la santé ou pharmaceutique
  • Ayez une compréhension approfondie du système de santé en Ontario ainsi que des environnements en maladies infectieuses et de l'immunisation
  • Avoir d'excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite (anglais obligatoire; le français est un atout)
  • Êtes capable de bâtir des relations crédibles, de gagner la confiance et d'influencer un large éventail de parties prenantes
  • Faites preuve d'un solide sens des affaires
  • Possédez de fortes compétences en négociation et en diplomatie
  • Faites preuve d'un jugement exceptionnel, de solides capacités de résolution de problèmes, de prise de décision et de gestion de projets
