Base pay range: CA$75,000.00 / yr - CA$90,000.00 / yr

Position Summary

The Associate Director, Performance is a strategic leader responsible for providing digital media expertise, strategic recommendations, and managing a team of digital buyers across multiple disciplines and clients. You will strengthen client relationships by applying performance marketing expertise, driving results, and staying current with industry trends. You will oversee the performance process, ensuring integrated strategies and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead client accounts with cross-disciplinary teams.
2. Understand client goals and deliver innovative, data-driven digital recommendations.
3. Oversee campaign execution, best practices, and channel innovation.
4. Guide clients on new paid digital opportunities, translating industry jargon for clarity.
5. Align team processes with digital strategies across disciplines.
6. Manage conflicts proactively and resolve issues promptly.
7. Provide strategic leadership to advance digital marketing efforts.
8. Manage budgets, billing, and financial accuracy.
9. Recommend media budget allocations and negotiate deals.

Supervisory Responsibilities

1. Manage Supervisors and Senior Strategists, providing feedback and growth opportunities.
2. Mentor team members and promote a positive work environment.
3. Share industry best practices and delegate workload fairly.
4. Contribute to performance reviews and promotion decisions.

Desired Skills & Experience

1. Managing 2+ direct reports.
2. Proficiency in MS Office and digital advertising platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google, etc.).
3. Experience with social, search, and programmatic campaigns.
4. Strong analytical skills and understanding of measurement tools.
5. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
6. At least 6 years of digital marketing experience.
7. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
8. Ability to work independently and in teams, managing multiple deadlines.
