About the Role

TheAssociateDirector of Sales & Growthis a key leadership position at Landwash Brewery, responsible for shaping and executing our long-term sales strategy while supporting our mission to bring great beer and good vibes to more people across Newfoundland and Labrador and beyond.

This role is all about impact. You’ll take the lead on driving annual sales growth, managing and mentoring our sales team, and building meaningful relationships with distributors, licensees, and key stakeholders. As a member of the leadership team, you'll play a central role in strengthening our market presence and ensuring that our values, quality, collaboration, and community shine through every customer interaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead and manage the execution of Landwash Brewery’s annual sales growth strategy, ensuring it aligns with the company’s long-term goals and delivers measurable results.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales, marketing, and hospitality teams to drive performance, encourage innovation, and foster a collaborative, respectful culture.
  • Set clear performance expectations and lead regular 1:1’s, offering constructive feedback and promoting continuous development across teams.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships that support the brewery’s strategic growth in both retail and wholesale markets.
  • Collaborate with the production team to align sales forecasts with inventory planning, ensuring smooth product flow and minimizing disruptions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, licensees, and decision-makers across accounts to strengthen market presence and loyalty.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and CRM activities to track performance, uncover insights, and refine strategies as needed.
  • Report regularly on sales performance, market developments, and competitive activity to inform leadership decision-making.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement campaigns that build brand awareness and drive consumer engagement across all channels.
  • Oversee the sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging by ensuring that all marketing efforts reflect Landwash Brewery’s identity, tone, and values across platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in sales, marketing or a related field
  • Experience in sales with a demonstrated ability to achieve targets and drive revenue growth
  • Strong leadership skills and an ability to effectively manage and motivate multiple teams to achieve goals
  • Ability to analyze and interpret sales data and market trends
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key decision makers
  • Proven ability to take initiative, think proactively and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and a passion for the craft beer industry, particularly within Newfoundland and Labrador and Atlantic Canada, would be an asset.

Additional Details:

  • This role is a full-time contract position from September 2025 to October 2026 with a possibility of extension
  • This position involves working primarily in-person at the office
