Reporting to the Executive Director, the Research Director is a senior member of CBRC’s leadership team. Working collaboratively with CBRC’s research team and external partners, the Research Director is responsible for leading the strategic development, implementation, and evaluation of CBRC’s 2S/LGBTQIA+ research program, including flagship initiatives such as Sex Now and Our Health . In partnership with the Executive Director and with CBRC research program leaders (including Associate Directors of Research, Research Scientist, Social Epidemiologist, and embedded postdoctoral fellow), they are responsible for securing sufficient funding and overall management of research grants and commitments. The Research Director also works to advance the priorities of the research program across CBRC, and support cross-departmental collaborations and relationships with other CBRC departments, including the Two-Spirit Program, Education, Knowledge Mobilization, and Policy, and Communications Departments.
