Job Description

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Market Access and Stakeholder Relations and collaborate with local marketing, field market access, medical teams, and North America HEOR and Value & Access teams to develop market access strategies, value propositions, and plans for key stakeholder groups involved in reimbursement processes nationally and provincially. Responsibilities include leading HTA submission preparations to INESSS, CADTH, private insurers, including strategy, clinical summaries, effectiveness evidence synthesis, budget impacts, and economic modeling; supporting pricing strategies; managing price negotiations through PCPA; and leading negotiations with private insurers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute market access strategies and evidence generation plans aligned with country objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop value propositions and messages tailored to payers, clinicians, PAGs, and policymakers.
  • Lead projects for national HTA submissions, HC system implications, and payer tools, working closely with field teams to ensure optimal patient access.
  • Support the development and evaluation of innovative pricing strategies for PCPA and private payers.
  • Create and deploy market access solutions and tools, including training for payer meetings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with payers and HTA bodies, developing mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Anticipate and shape future external environment dynamics impacting market access and reimbursement.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in a relevant scientific discipline; MSc in health economics or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ strategic market access experience in the pharmaceutical industry or consultancy.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in French is an asset.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills; experience with health economic models and Canadian healthcare systems.
  • Disease area expertise in neurosciences preferred; experience in rare diseases is desirable.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, lean environment; customer-focused; proficient with digital platforms.
  • Valid driver’s license; travel may be required.
