Your Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced leader with a proven history of managing teams and dealing with sophisticated clients, who thrives in a challenging environment, excels in building long-term client relationships, and has a passion for driving growth in an innovative industry.

Your Role

As the Associate Director, Key Account Management (Lead Americas), you will be a driving force in managing a high-performing Key Account Management team in Toronto with responsibility for managing RepRisk’s Americas client book. You will report to the Head of Key Account Management in Zurich, and serving as a vital member of both the Toronto leadership and the global Key Account Management Leadership teams, you will:

Leadership and Team Development

  • Manage and lead a team of Senior Account Managers in Toronto, overseeing sophisticated client relationships across the US, Canada, and Latin America in the financial and non-financial industry.
  • Inspire, mentor, and guide your team to deliver exceptional results in managing complex client portfolios.
  • Strong commitment to operational excellence and role modelling.

Strategic Account Management

  • Drive growth initiatives with existing clients, while ensuring stable client and dollar retention rates.
  • Develop and execute regional engagement plans and client strategies to ensure the integration and "stickiness" of our data as a service (DaaS) solution.
  • Be the principal advisor to Senior Account Managers, steering their day-to-day operations with major financial and non-financial key accounts.
  • Nurture strategic client relationships with key clients through in-person engagement.

Client Relationship Excellence

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for an exclusive portfolio of key accounts, cultivating relationships with banking, asset management, insurance, and multinational corporate clients.
  • Drive cross- and upselling efforts to expand product adoption in a long sales cycle environment.
  • Ensure high client satisfaction, retention, and value by delivering outstanding service and integrating our solutions into client workflows.

Collaboration and Operational Success

  • Collaborate with internal teams including Business Development, Client Operations, Product Development, and Research to maximize client impact and business development opportunities.
  • Oversee operational and administrative aspects of the client lifecycle, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Leadership Experience: 10+ years of managerial expertise, with a proven history of building and executing successful client management strategies in the financial industry or in a role that served the financial industry.
  • Client-Centric Focus: Exceptional skills in client management, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement across all organizational levels.
  • Strategic Vision: Proven ability to think strategically and analytically about business, products, and market trends.
  • Technical Acumen: Comfortable navigating technical discussions with IT and Product teams, with advanced proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce.
  • Global Perspective and Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in English (Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a plus) and a strong understanding of the nuances of global client engagement.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working in or with financial services, especially asset management and banking. Be a thought leader within the markets.
