Job description

Facilitates growth initiatives for the Bank through significant business development and excellent management of key client relationships. Maintains an outstanding and continuous record of revenue generation from sales and syndications. Ensures adherence to internal control standards, including audit, regulatory, and compliance policies.

Responsibilities

  1. Develops new business by contacting prospects and clients, cross-selling Bank products such as credit, trust/investment, and cash management.
  2. Participates in Bank and community activities to increase brand visibility and generate new business opportunities.
  3. Applies expertise in bank products, processes, and systems to ensure a high-quality client experience.
  4. Coordinates closing processes with relevant departments, clients, and attorneys.
  5. Serves as a daily escalation resource to meet or exceed client expectations.
  6. Advises clients on loan products, options, rates, terms, and collateral requirements.
  7. Provides advice to business clients on cash management and deposit solutions.
  8. Develops and manages Commercial banking relationships, including focused calling and pipeline management.
  9. Acts as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Provides oversight and reporting for regulatory remediation within the assigned business group.
  11. Analyzes financial data to determine client needs for structuring Bank products and services.
  12. Monitors performance, addresses issues, and ensures proper documentation for loans and cash management services.
  13. Reviews loan applications and service agreements for completeness and accuracy.
  14. Negotiates terms for credit and cash management services, ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines.
  15. Follows up post-closing to ensure documentation is complete and filed.
  16. Acts as a sales contact for product information, pricing, and implementation questions.
  17. Prepares data and documentation for sales activities, including pitches and client research.
  18. Tracks implementation requests and supports sales support material improvements.
  19. Provides research and data to facilitate client solutions.
  20. Supports sales and service administration to ensure a seamless client experience.
  21. Maintains accurate client information and ensures correct billing.
  22. Offers specialized consulting and technical support, working independently on non-routine situations.

Qualifications

  • Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience with a post-secondary degree or equivalent.
  • If applicable, credit qualifications per established standards.
  • Deep knowledge of banking products, processes, and systems.
  • Strong collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, and influence skills.

Compensation

Salary range: $68,000 - $126,000, variable based on location, skills, experience, and qualifications. May include commissions, bonuses, and other benefits such as health insurance, tuition reimbursement, and retirement plans.
