This role plays a critical part in proactively optimizing vehicular flow, enhancing operational efficiency, and mitigating congestion-related risks, by leveraging analytics, real-time monitoring, and predictive tools. You will ensure all groundside activities are carefully planned, coordinated and implemented to enable operational and customer service excellence. You will lead a team accountable for the safe, efficient, resilient and seamless groundside experience while preparing the airport for future traffic growth and capital program related impact.Who are we looking for?You are a customer service driven and operational excellence individual and have strong financial and business acumen. You are a collaborative leader and mentor who understands how to drive high performance through communication, transparency and continuous improvement. You’re great at balancing multiple and competing priorities and are comfortable in an environment undergoing transformation and change management. You have experience in unionized environments and understand the complexities of an international commercial operation.This is the role for you, if you have:Post Secondary Degree in Transportation Management, Aviation Operations or a related field7 years of progressive operations management in an airport environment, transportation, or related industry7 years’ leadership with people management experience in planning and managing operational and capital programsExperience in parking, curbside and ground transportation operations similar to an airport environmentAbility to obtain and retain Transportation Canada Security ClearanceValid G Driver's LicenseThe GTAA is committed to Employment Equity and maintaining a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
