This role will specifically support the Personal Lending, Payments, and Digital Bank portfolios and serve as the primary financial lead supporting the Head of Personal Business.
Maintenance of Financial Models (25%)
- Liaise with Senior Management within various Business Units to collect assumptions that drive Financial Model output.
- Develop and maintain financial models distributed to Senior and Executive Management monthly and quarterly.
- Key deliverables include:
- Annual Budget Model
- Quarterly Financial Forecasts
- Monthly Financial Reports
- Monthly Vendor Spend Accruals and Reporting
- Business Unit NIM and profitability reporting, ROE, and pricing analysis.
- Run and review outputs from detailed Financial Models, ensuring data accuracy and proper interpretation.
- Employ advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, IF statements, VLOOKUP, OFFSET, SUMIFS, MATCH-INDEX) to build efficient models.
- Review work related to Financial Models by Financial Analysts and Rotational Associates.
Financial Analysis / Ad hoc Reporting (35%)
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze financial data and KPIs from various sources.
- Present results with insights and recommendations to management monthly and quarterly.
- Maintain flexibility, autonomy, and attention to detail under tight deadlines.
- Deliverables include efficiency and KPI reports, ad hoc reports, and review of team members' work.
- Assist in other Finance and Accounting areas as needed.
Enhance Financial Analysis and Processes (25%)
- Work with Senior Director to define and implement enhancements to models and reporting.
- Assess and improve budgeting and forecasting processes, including new tools.
- Improve technical accuracy, validation, and organization of analyses.
- Structure processes, develop documentation, and identify efficiencies to reduce manual effort and errors.
- Review work related to process enhancements.

Qualifications
- Four-year degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business.
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience, including oversight of junior team members.
- Knowledge of mortgage and personal banking products.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with database tools like SQL is a plus.
- Understanding of financial statements, reporting, and modeling concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work both independently and in teams.
