Job summary

iA Financial Group is seeking an Associate Director, Canadian Equities to lead coverage of sectors and companies, develop differentiated investment theses, and present actionable recommendations to Portfolio Managers. The role spans large-cap and small-cap research with strong emphasis on fundamentals, valuation, and risk analysis.

Responsibilities include generating ideas, supporting investment theses with evidence, and participating in meetings and due diligence across the investment process.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience analyzing public companies and making stock recommendations.
• Deep expertise in one of: Information Technology, Materials, Energy, Financials, or Real Estate.
• Undergraduate degree in finance/economics/accounting/business; CFA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead coverage of sectors and companies, develop differentiated investment views.
• Conduct fundamental research including financial modelling, valuation, scenario analysis, and risk assessment.
• Present recommendations to Portfolio Managers and participate in investment debates and committees.
• Monitor investments and prepare concise investment briefs and materials.
