Qualifications

• 7+ years of trading credit products and a related Bachelor's degree (advanced degree or CFA preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience trading FX, Equities, Futures, and Fixed Income products.
• Strong knowledge of Bloomberg and trading tools: Candeal, MarketAxess, Trumid.
• Coding skills in Python, SQL, and VBA.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and execute timely and reliable transactions in US and Canadian credit.
• Support trading team in order management and operational processes.
• Collaborate with the investment management team by sharing market insights.

The Vice President, Head of Global Trading is looking for a Director, Credit Trading to join the trading team. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to our team and located in our Montreal, Quebec City or Toronto offices.

Who you’ll work with:

• The role requires extensive collaboration with portfolio managers, analysts, and cross-functional teams, including Legal, Operations, and Compliance, to facilitate efficient trade execution and portfolio management.
• The individual will report directly to the Global Head of Trading, work closely with other fixed income traders, and traders in other asset classes

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a minimum of 7 years experience of trading credit products and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study (advanced degree or CFA preferred).
• Is recognized for their excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to thrive under pressure,manage multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail, and work effectively in a team environment.
• Has experience trading FX, Equities, Futures, and Fixed Income products.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of Bloomberg and other trading tools, including Candeal, MarketAxess, and Trumid.
• Brings additional value through coding skills in Python, SQL, and VBA.
