Job Description

What is the opportunity?

Analyzes information technology (IT) requirements in business processes, through requirements elicitation, solutions identification, risk analysis and collaboration across (IT) teams. Applies extensive, in-depth knowledge, skills, and practices to perform complex assignments.

Responsibilities
  • Developing documents for IT applications, system specifications and test plans, according to existing standards and methodologies.
  • Eliciting the requirements needed to carry out business processes including interviews, intelligence analysis and survey assessments.
  • Translating business needs, processes and procedures into a workable system, and articulating on specific software requirements by communicating about these requirements with technology experts and business stakeholders.
  • Working closely with business architects and other technology staff to deliver project results while implementing risk analysis and meeting required deliverable.
What you need to succeed

Must have:

  • Experience working as a Business Analyst in Front Office and Back Office teams
  • Experience in gathering requirements for Front Office users
  • Detailed understanding of the Repo and Sec Lending markets (Front Office, Settlements and Collateral Management)
  • Ability to translate requirements from non-technical users to developers
  • Ability to explain technical issues and constraints to non-technical users
  • In depth knowledge of a Repo trading platform such as Apex

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of the various P&L valuations
  • Knowledge of Risk calculation methods
