Job summary

Sandstone Dental in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a passionate, patient-focused full-time Associate Dentist to join our busy and supportive team. This role offers a well-established practice with a loyal patient base and a collaborative environment dedicated to exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate will provide a full scope of general dentistry, including restorative treatment, endodontics, extractions, Invisalign, and other routine procedures.

Qualifications

• BDS/DDS/DMD from an accredited program or NDEB equivalency.
• Registered or in process with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta.
• Eligible to practice dentistry in Alberta; open to other provinces.
• Invisalign certification required.
• 2+ years of dental practice experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients’ families.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope general dentistry including restorative, endodontics, and extractions.
• Offer Invisalign and other routine procedures.
• Maintain a comfortable, patient-focused experience for every patient.
• Collaborate with a busy, supportive team.

We're looking for a well-rounded General Dentist who is comfortable providing a full scope of general dentistry, including restorative treatment, endodontics, extractions, Invisalign, and other routine dental procedures. The ideal candidate is confident working independently, communicates effectively with patients and colleagues, and is committed to creating a positive, comfortable experience for every patient.

WHAT WE ARE OFFERING:

• Full-time position

SCHEDULE:

• 32-40 hours per week
• Monday - Fridays
• Morning and evening shifts required

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Program from an accredited school or university program, or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) equivalency process.
• Registered or in processing of registering with the:
  • Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta
• Eligible to practice dentistry in the province of Alberta
• We are open to those currently registered with other Canadian province(s)
• Invisalign certification would be required
• 2 years of experience in practicing dentistry is required
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients’ families
