Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine dental examinations, including evaluations of oral health and hygiene.
  • Diagnose dental conditions and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
  • Conduct dental procedures such as fillings, root canals, extractions, and prosthetic fittings.
  • Provide preventive care and oral hygiene instructions to maintain patients' oral health.
  • Educate patients on the importance of oral health and proper dental care techniques.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatment plans and procedures.
  • Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient care and office operations.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dental technology, techniques, and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Active license to practice dentistry in Alberta, Canada, in good standing.
  • Proven clinical proficiency and experience in general dentistry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide compassionate patient care.
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
