Job summary

Little Current Dental in Little Current, ON on Manitoulin Island is seeking a passionate Associate Dentist for a full-time position. The role includes providing a full range of dental services with the aim of high-quality care, and helping patients feel at ease while communicating effectively with families and staff.

Ideal candidates have a DDS/BDS/DMD or NDEB equivalency, Ontario licensure in progress, and at least 3 years of practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited school or university, or NDEB equivalency.
• Registered or in process with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario
• Eligible to practice dentistry in Ontario
• Minimum 3 years of clinical dentistry experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients’ families

The team at Little Current Dentalin Little Current, ONon beautiful Manitoulin Island,is looking for a passionate, hard-working Associate Dentist on a full-time basis.

The Associate Dentist will provide a full range of dental services with the highest quality of care to ensure our patients have a positive, rewarding experience and leave with a smile. The Ideal Associate for our team and practice is skilled in helping patients feel at ease and comfortable, can clearly communicate with both patients and coworkers, and work independently as needed.

SCHEDULE:

• 32 hours per week


• Monday to Thursday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm - with the occasional Fridays

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Program from an accredited school or university program, OR successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) equivalency process.


• Registered or in processing of registering with the:
  • Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario


• Eligible to practice dentistry in the province of Ontario


• 3 years of experience in practicing dentistry is required


• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients’ families
