What is the opportunity?

As an Associate Credit Officer, you will be part of a hybrid role within Risk Operations, providing exposure to Business Financial Services (BFS). Your responsibilities include ensuring the fulfillment and servicing of complex client transactions and investigations, analyzing non-standard transactions, and resolving client issues. You will work with RBC Leadership to adapt to change and grow within an agile team, contributing to continuous improvement activities while balancing client experience with operational and compliance risk mitigation, aligned with CB Operations business objectives and Our Collective Ambition vision.

Please Note: This role is hybrid and requires commuting to our Vancouver CAG location.

What will you do?

  • Compile documentation for the Credit Advisory Group (CAG) to start Commercial Credit Review (CCR).
  • Gather information from various systems and coordinate with team members to obtain additional data such as Financial Statements.
  • Track document receipt and organize files for CAG, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain data integrity during file preparation and correct errors in systems like Synergy and Casper.
  • Streamline front-end setup and communicate with Commercial Account Managers regarding client financials and documentation.
  • Organize and prepare CASPER applications for adjudication.
  • Utilize automation tools to manage tasks such as tracking sheets and electronic document storage.
  • Manage incoming documents and disseminate information appropriately.

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, detail-oriented operations environment.
  • Change management skills and adaptability in an agile setting.
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize independently.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with Synergy, CMS, CASPER, Panther, and Covarity Dashboard.
  • Knowledge of BFS products, processes, and services.
