Qualifications

Responsibilities
  1. Assist financial and corporate acquirers and vendors in evaluating M&A opportunities by understanding deal hypotheses, company value drivers, and risks.
  2. Develop project plans and coordinate logistics with clients and stakeholders.
  3. Conduct detailed analysis related to quality of earnings reviews, EBITDA sustainability, asset quality, working capital, and potential risks and opportunities.
  4. Build technical analysis, projections, forecasts, and models.
  5. Identify competitive issues and performance indicators at macro and micro levels specific to the target market.
  6. Research market and industry trends, synthesize broad insights, and draw conclusions.
  7. Design and develop high-quality deliverables including engagement letters, reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  8. Identify innovative ways to add value for clients; ensure needs are met and relationships develop.
  9. Participate in business development and contribute to proposals.
  10. Collaborate with the client engagement team.
  11. Maintain flexibility to travel as necessary.
Skills and Experience
  1. Master’s degree in a related field is an asset.
  2. CPA designation.
  3. At least 3 years of professional services experience, especially in transaction or due diligence services.
  4. Extensive experience in financial statement analysis and preparation.
  5. Strong technical accounting skills with detailed knowledge of GAAP.
