Overview

As the Associate Consumer Insights & Analytics Manager for PepsiCo Beverages Canada, your mandate is to be the “voice of the consumer” through primary research and advanced analytics. You will work collaboratively with a brilliant & fun PepsiCo Marketing and Insights team in pursuit of actionable insights that will define growth opportunities and shape business strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Design and execute qualitative and quantitative consumer research studies in support of overall marketing efforts, including custom research
  • Deeply understand consumer behaviour, drivers of choice, consumption habits, and consumer targets
  • Find compelling insights to inspire and inform communications, innovation, pricing strategies, targeting, media buy, and a lot more
  • Oversee portfolio wide processes in Brand Health studies, including continuous inputs and deliverables
  • Find consumption demand trends across beverages categories overseeing the analytics agenda of syndicated consumption data to help identify portfolio strategy and white space
  • Synthesize and report Nielsen Homescan data in a way that will inform the Marketing teams to create strategies and tactics that drive growth
  • Connect with key US/Global stakeholders and identify and adapt best practices for Canada
  • Foster on-going relationships with key research suppliers
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional partners including Finance and Sales Strategy
  • Present research findings, implications, and recommendations to internal senior stakeholders
Qualifications
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree (Social Sciences/Stats/Business degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in an Insights/Analytics function
  • Excellent data analytics skills and critical thinking abilities, driving insights into action
  • Demonstrated understanding of quantitative research design, consumer research tools and statistical analysis
  • Demonstrated understanding of qualitative research such as focus groups and ethnographies
  • Ability to pull disparate pieces of data together for a cohesive and insightful consumer story
  • Genuine curiosity for the consumer and a desire to delight the consumer at the core of everything we do
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and influence at all levels
  • Experience with Nielsen data an asset
