Job Overview

We are seeking a talented individual to support residential construction projects and SaskPower’s Northern First Nations Home Retrofit Program. This initiative provides energy assessments and upgrades to create healthier, energy-efficient homes for First Nations communities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Program Manager to deliver programs effectively.
  • Conduct home energy assessments and review energy-efficient products and technologies.
  • Ensure quality assurance and control (QA / QC) for installations and data collection.
  • Manage program analytics and reporting to meet objectives and energy savings targets.

Location and Travel

Based anywhere in Saskatchewan with willingness to travel to remote northern communities.

Qualifications

  • Personable, compassionate, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze data and conduct independent home energy audits.
  • Understanding of building science principles and experience with QA / QC protocols.
  • Minimum 3 years in construction design, engineering, energy advising, or related fields.
  • Post-secondary education or certifications in energy conservation, building sciences, engineering, or sustainability.
  • Experience working with Indigenous communities is required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record; willing to travel (~20%).

Compensation

30-$35 / hour
