This role involves facilitating decision-making and analysis of credit information to support lending decisions, maintaining a client service environment, and making credit decisions in line with bank policies and sound credit principles.

  1. Establish cross-selling initiatives to increase client penetration.
  2. Apply expertise in bank products, processes, and systems to ensure high-quality client experiences.
  3. Coordinate closing processes with relevant departments, clients, and attorneys.
  4. Serve as an escalation resource to meet or exceed client expectations.
  5. Act as a trusted advisor, influence and negotiate to achieve business objectives.
  6. Develop financial models and analytical tools to evaluate client capital structures.
  7. Design and produce reports and dashboards, and stay updated on market financing trends.
  8. Lead communication strategies to influence behavior and develop tailored messaging.
  9. Prepare concise credit correspondence and lending proposals to maximize penetration and returns.
  10. Negotiate transactions, oversee documentation, and monitor asset and client performance.
  11. Manage workflow of analysts, provide financial analysis and risk assessments, and partner with internal stakeholders for detailed client information.
  12. Make lending decisions based on comprehensive credit information, assist in negotiations, and ensure adherence to credit policies to minimize risk.
  13. Build relationships with stakeholders, provide technical support, and handle non-routine situations independently.

Qualifications:

  • Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience with a post-secondary degree or equivalent.
  • Deep knowledge of banking products, processes, and systems.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, influence, and data-driven decision-making skills.

Salary: $68,000 - $126,000 (Salaried)
