Job summary

Success Matcher Recruitment is partnering with a leading Canadian immigration law brand in Toronto to hire an Associate Client Growth Lawyer. You will consult with inbound prospects, assess eligibility, and guide them toward retained representation.

You’ll leverage AI tools and a CRM to manage the pipeline, drive monthly retainer revenue, and build lasting client relationships while contributing to product development and automated intake enhancements.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed member in good standing of a Canadian law society or an active RCIC in good standing with CICC.
• JD or LLB from a recognized law school.
• Motivated to succeed in a consultative, revenue-generating role with uncapped commissions.

Responsibilities

• Advise inbound prospects, evaluating eligibility and outlining legal pathways.
• Drive retainer conversions from qualified leads to signed retainers.
• Own the client relationship from first touchpoint through retention.

Our client is hiring an Associate Client Growth Lawyer to consult with inbound prospects, deliver strategic immigration guidance, and convert demand into retained clients.

What You'll Do

• Advise Inbound Prospects: Conduct detailed consultations with individuals seeking Canadian immigration representation, evaluating their eligibility and presenting actionable legal pathways.
• Drive Retainers: Guide prospective clients through their decision-making process and convert qualified leads into signed retainers.
• Own the Client Relationship: Manage the prospect relationship end-to-end from first touchpoint to retention before handing the file over to dedicated legal operations teams.
• Meet Growth Targets: Build and manage an active consultation pipeline targeting ~CAD $100,000 in monthly retained revenue after a structured 90-day ramp.
• Leverage Cutting-Edge Tech: Integrate modern generative AI tools and CRM systems into your daily workflow to streamline correspondence, pipeline management, and case preparation.
• Influence Product Development: Test features on the firm's proprietary platform (CV Labs) and provide real-time feedback to engineering teams to automate repetitive intake tasks.

Requirements

• Credentials: Member in good standing of a Canadian law society with 1–3 years of post-call experience, or an active Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) in good standing with the CICC.
• Education: JD or LLB degree from a recognized law school.
• Commercial Mindset: High motivation to thrive in a consultative, revenue-generating role backed by uncapped commission upside.
• Empathetic Communication: Proven ability to build immediate rapport, de-escalate anxiety, and explain complex legal concepts with clarity.
• AI Fluency: Practical, day-to-day comfort utilizing AI technologies such as Claude, ChatGPT, or related productivity tools.
• Nice-to-have: Direct background in Canadian immigration practice, high-volume client intake, or previous experience in legal-tech business development (e.g., Clio, LexisNexis).
• Eligibility: Legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
