The Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) is the industry-funded regulator responsible for administering the province's securities laws. The Office of the Chief Accountant (OCA) provides expertise in accounting, auditing, and financial reporting to ASC staff and guidance to reporting issuers and their advisors. It is involved in policy initiatives and training related to these areas.
The opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Accountant, the Associate Chief Accountant will serve as an expert resource, represent the ASC externally, mentor staff, and be a thought leader in accounting and auditing.
