As an FC Capture Artist, you will build realistic-looking FC (soccer) gameplay moments that will be used in marketing and promotional content for advertising and social media. An FC Capture Artist is an avid soccer fan with deep knowledge in the sport's culture and very high level EA FC skills. Basic understanding of cinematic camera language is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build and capture realistic-looking FC (soccer) gameplay moments that will be used in marketing and promotional content for advertising and social media.
• Quality control gameplay captures to ensure the final results are authentic to real soccer.
• Achieve the best results while working within the confines of unfinished technology.
• Communicate any issues with leads to determine the best way to adjust capture to achieve the visual goal for the asset.
• Archive and manage assets.
• Plan and complete small to medium size projects and coordinate captures with 1-2 additional capture artists to accomplish shots.
• Work with Leads & Supervisors to create and organize trackers across multiple projects.
• Communicate with leads & supervisors and production partners on project status.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of the EA FC franchise, its modes and culture.
• High level of EA FC gaming skills -- a competitive play test will be required.
• Deep knowledge of real world soccer, including rules, tactics, formations, play styles, clubs, players (current and retired), managers, leagues, transfers and culture.
• Proficient in PC use and current generation video game consoles.
• Team-oriented with the ability to focus on multiple projects and tasks in group settings under high-pressure.
• Basic knowledge of cinematic and camera language is an asset but not required.

Experience

• Experience with playing real world soccer is beneficial.
• 1+ years of experience in a soccer related position is beneficial.
• Interest in working in the gaming industry.
