The Associate Program

This program is designed to equip Associates with the skills to become professional commercial real estate sales/leasing representatives. It introduces them to various situations they will handle as salespeople, supported by educational and licensing courses, mentorship from experienced staff, and practical experience.

Attributes for success include being sales-oriented, motivated, dedicated, ethical, energetic, able to work under pressure, and possessing strong financial and analytical skills.

Major Tasks

• Assisting Senior Sales Representatives: Supporting senior staff in preparing proposals, market surveys, and participating in property tours.
• New Business Development: Engaging in cold calling, networking, and prospecting under mentorship.
• Analysis: Preparing financial analyses, reviewing leases, proposals, valuations, and market trends.
• Marketing: Assisting in creating property sale particulars, brochures, and advertising campaigns.
• Supporting the Team: Helping other personnel as approved by managers.
• Market Reports: Gathering information for regular market reports.
• Meetings: Attending morning meetings and reporting on market news.
• Knowledge Building: Familiarizing with properties, buildings, and major projects.
• Information Systems: Contributing to CRM and research programs, maintaining databases, and performing financial analyses.
• Educational Courses: Completing licensing courses through the Alberta Real Estate Association and pursuing additional real estate education.
