Job summary

Kenvue is seeking an Associate Brand Manager Intern for an 8-month program in Toronto, Ontario. Hybrid work location with exposure to consumer marketing, brand strategy and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities include building strategic plans, analyzing category insights, supporting P&L, and shaping product launches. The program emphasizes learning, development and potential full-time opportunities for top performers.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a university degree in marketing/business or MBA.
  • Authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Prior brand marketing internships or relevant marketing experience encouraged.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for the brand, gaining consensus from senior management.
  • Uncover insights about category, competitors and retail customers to drive recommendations.
  • Support brand P&L and provide investment recommendations for growth.
  • Collaborate with sales, regulatory, finance, supply, demand planning and global marketing teams.
  • Track monthly and annual shipment and consumption targets.
  • Support product launches and pricing/merchandising strategies.
  • Conduct consumer research to shape in-market activations.
  • Craft marketing communications with external agencies and partners.
  • Work with peer marketers to influence enterprise thinking.

What You Will Do

We are looking for forward-thinking & motivated students to join the Consumer Marketing team in the summer as an Associate Brand Manager Intern (January to August) in Toronto (North York), Ontario.

Responsibilities
  • Development and execution of a strategic business plan for your brand, garnering consensus through senior management
  • Uncovering analytical insights about the category, competitor & retail customers that drive business recommendations
  • Supporting your brand’s P&L & making investment recommendations to drive profitable growth
  • Collaborating with internal partners, including sales, regulatory, finance, supply, demand planning & global marketing teams to effectively execute against local business plans
  • Successfully tracking & analyzing delivery of monthly and annual shipment and consumption targets
  • Shaping recommendations to launch new product innovation, and recommending pricing & merchandising strategies
  • Conducting consumer research to uncover insights that shape in-market activations
  • Crafting marketing communications (eg. TV, digital, print, sampling, professional, etc.) & claims with external agency partners
  • Partnering with your peer marketers to craft & influence enterprise-level thinking

Within the role, you will be provided the opportunity for strong learning & development and the chance to grow your skills through formal and on-the-job training. Upon completion of the internship, top performing candidates may be considered for full-time roles.

Required Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

  • Actively working towards the completion of a university degree; preferably in marketing/business or an MBA.
  • Authorized to work in Canada without the need of sponsorship now or in the future.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous brand management internships or relevant marketing experience is highly encouraged.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with an ability to bring out the best in others.
  • Strategy and data are the core of everything we do, so strong critical thinking and analytical skills are required.
  • Digital marketing experience is an asset, as are budget management and forecasting skills.

What’s In It For You

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:$34,000.00 - $49,450.00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
