Purpose of Job:

The Associate Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of a client's paid search initiatives. This includes developing strategy and managing the execution of search marketing campaigns based on the client's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define and manage search marketing campaigns for Fortune 1000 clients
  2. Create, manage and execute strategic search marketing plans that meet client goals
  3. Define a campaign strategy and deliverables plan that exceeds client expectations
  4. Create, present and gain client approval on insertion orders, campaign strategies and tactics
  5. Oversee and deliver on Account Management business processes
  6. Maintain positive client relationships, expectations and communications
  7. Forecast, generate and maximize revenue opportunities with clients
  8. Monitor, track, evaluate and optimize campaign performance to maximize client investment
  9. Scope and develop new business with companies looking to meet their marketing goals using search marketing
  10. Cross-functional campaign development with internal SEO & SEM teams as well as sister media agencies
  11. Build on an existing level of paid search expertise, and develop a reputation for innovation and efficiency
  12. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in digital marketing as well as consumer behavior to recommend improvements to accounts
  13. Aid in creation of new business presentations, POVs, best practices and key process documentation

Knowledge and Skills:

  1. Account/client management skills and complex paid search campaigns
  2. High level of attention to detail and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple accounts
  3. Ability to interact in a professional manner and deal with clients face-to-face
  4. Technical and analytical mindset
  5. Experience using search advertising platforms (Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Amazon Marketing)
  6. Experience with analytical tools (Google Analytics)
  7. Experience with Bid Management tools (DoubleClick, Marin, Searchlight) and biddable social APIs
  8. High level of technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  9. Google Certification is an asset
