Who You Are

  • Actively participate as part of our integrated PR team, supporting the account team and clients on a day-to-day basis from brief to execution to measurement and reporting.
  • Provide daily media monitoring, tracking and social listening on a number of client files.
  • Monitor and track client, competitor, industry, and cultural news and share with team.
  • Understand what themes and content will drive coverage and conversations on social and traditional media; develop relevant narratives and media pitches.
  • Work with content and design teams to craft best in class content and media materials.
  • Conduct media pitching to secure coverage and coordinate interviews with spokespeople when necessary.
  • Work to foster strong relationships with industry media and influencers that align with our client portfolio.
  • Manage media and influencer seeding including working with vendor partnership, packaging, shipping and tracking.
  • Manage influencer vetting and selection for paid campaigns with a keen eye for understanding how to identify strong partners that align with brand and campaign objectives.
  • Manage influencer partners from negotiation, contracting, content development to reporting.
  • Provide client / account administrative support including vendor set-up, PO creation and OOP tracking.
  • Support event management and execution.
  • Support with day-to-day account admin.
  • Adopt Golin’s best practices around strategic planning and AI enablement.

What You’ll Do

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an intern and/or coordinator in a Canadian PR agency setting.
  • Understanding of what earned-first PR means to our clients and business.
  • Proficient in the use of technology and tools including Microsoft Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Meltwater or Cision, CreatorIQ or similar platform.
  • Broad understanding of AI and communications with a desire to learn and grow in this area.
  • Superior written and verbal presentation skills (English Professional Proficiency)
  • Confident, driven, smart and a go-getter with a passion for communications.
  • Strong understanding of the media and influencer landscape with the ability to identify trends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks at once.
  • Meticulous and detail oriented, yet able to work fast.
