Job summary

Nova Scotia Regional Centres for Education & CSAP seeks an Assistive Technology Support Worker to deliver specialized knowledge in accessible education materials and AT for students with disabilities. Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Disability Supports and Services or acceptable equivalent.
Proficiency with voice to text and text to voice programs.
Valid Driver's License and daily access to a vehicle.
Knowledge and aptitude in Assistive Technology and school software required.
Experience working in school settings with children and youth is required.
Experience delivering professional learning to groups is an asset.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized knowledge in accessible education materials and assistive technology for students with disabilities.
Support appropriate use of student equipment, technology and applications (hardware/software).
Work with students individually and in small groups to teach effective use of assistive technology.
Collaborate with educational professionals to support MTSS and Inclusive Education policies.
