Assistant, Underwriting (Auto)

What to expect

1. Assist with various tasks related to the underwriting process, including data entry, report ordering, and policy systems management
2. Collaborate with colleagues in the commercial underwriting department to ensure work is accurately and fully completed
3. Contribute to achieving our customer service level promises, meeting quality and production expectations on a regular basis
4. Familiarize yourself with our underwriting processes, guidelines, and workflow to complete tasks accurately
5. Support general office duties and other tasks as required

What you bring

1. Strong typing skills and overall computer literacy
2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a professional manner
4. Demonstrates initiative and willingness to learn
5. Post-secondary education (University or College)
6. Working towards a Chartered Insurance Professional designation is an asset
7. Previous insurance experience would be an asset

Salary range: $34,300 - $59,100
