Job summary

Dollarama in Chilliwack, BC is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to support store management in daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure a welcoming, well-organized shopping environment. You will handle shipments, restock shelves, assist with cash duties, manage time and attendance, and lead the manager-on-duty tasks while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Job description

The Assistant Team Leader provides support to the management team in executing and overseeing daily retail store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a well-organized and efficient store environment.

Daily Tasks (but not limited to)

• Assisting the management team in managing store operations and staff.
• Boxing and unboxing daily shipments.
• Stocking daily products on shelves.
• Climbing ladders to reach all areas of the store.
• Providing good customer service and resolving customer issues.
• Ensuring store safety and cleanliness standards are maintained.

What Do You Need to Succeed?

• Approximately one (1) year of relevant experience in the retail industry.
• At least one (1) year in a supervisory role.

• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
