Responsibilities

As an Assistant Supervisor you will:

  • Act as a champion for our culture and lead the operations team in developing and maintaining a positive, productive environment aligned with our Leadership Values.
  • Work closely with team members to deliver results to meet daily and weekly production schedules.
  • Participate in on-site audits for FSQA, Health & Safety, and Human Resources requirements.
  • Resolve employee issues through counselling sessions, investigations or grievance meetings as needed.
  • Actively participate in daily team meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as FSQA, Reliability, Sanitation, Materials, Finance, and Human Resources.
  • Foster a positive employee relationship by treating all employees with respect, listening to concerns and providing timely responses.
  • Facilitate safety talks and task observations in pursuit of continuous improvement.
  • Handle administrative duties such as payroll, scheduling and shift reports.
