A leading educational institution in Halifax is seeking an Assistant Supervisor for Facilities Services to oversee maintenance and operations of athletic facilities. The candidate will manage casual staff, ensure safe facility usage, and support various athletic events. Ideal applicants have a high school diploma and experience in sports facility maintenance. This role offers a total compensation package that includes health and dental plans.

Athletics and Recreation takes a holistic approach to enhancing the Dalhousie experience by creating and sharing ways to engage and connect students through physical activity and wellness, and to contribute to student success. Reporting to the Manager, Facility Operations and Services, the Assistant Supervisor, Facilities Services will contribute to high quality customer service and safety for Athletics & Recreation Services clients.
This position requires the handling of pool chemicals on a regular basis. Due to operational requirements, the successful applicant is required to work in-person on campus.
