You are an aspiring Superintendent with over 3 years of field operations experience working in multi-disciplinary large-scale, commercial and residential projects. You will ensure compliance with safety protocols, schedules, budgets, quality standards, and client expectations. Essential Responsibilities

• Oversee site team to ensure the successful delivery of a complex commercial construction project to completion.
• Ensure field staff are equipped with resources to complete projects according to plans, specifications, and building codes, while strictly following safety regulations.
• Collaborate with safety personnel to adhere to Ledcor’s safety programs and policies.
• Follow Ledcor’s Construction Operations Manual and develop the Project Quality Program (PQP), ensuring PEP conformance.
• Review and maintain schedules, meet milestones, identify issues, and lead solutions.
• Promote site safety, subcontractor compliance, and adherence to safety plans and regulations.
• Oversee care and maintenance of equipment, maximizing use and ensuring proper returns.
• Submit detailed hourly timecards for job costing.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to meet needs and foster future opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction experience in roles such as Foreperson or Assistant Superintendent.
• Experience with high-rise residential, mass timber, healthcare, data centers, or complex projects.
• Relevant industry trade certification or education.
• Strong safety expertise and knowledge of OH&S and environmental standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Technical knowledge of construction practices, documents, schedules, and industry standards.
• Ability to anticipate problems and lead innovative solutions.

Working Conditions

• Site-based position in Vancouver, BC.
• Valid driver’s license and clean abstract.
• Completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

Compensation

$80,000 - $110,000 annually. Compensation will depend on experience, skills, education, and location.
