Your Role as an Assistant Superintendent/Project Coordinator (Project Support)

In this position, you will work closely with the Superintendent to ensure smooth on-site construction operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with site management to ensure all work aligns with drawings and specifications
  • Supporting scheduling, manpower allocation, material coordination, and inspections
  • Coordinate RFI's and Shop drawings
  • Monitoring job site safety and compliance with project requirements
  • Identifying and addressing potential work challenges, advising the Superintendent and Project Manager as needed
  • Maintaining and analyzing cost reports to keep the project on budget
  • Professionally engaging with owners, consultants, and architects to represent company interests effectively

What You Bring

  • A construction-related degree/diploma and 5-7 years of experience, or an equivalent mix of education and field experience
  • Commercial or institutional construction experience
  • Familiarity with scheduling, project management, and contract software
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a team setting
  • Computer skills (Typing, able to adapt to new software)
