Reitmans Canada Limited is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations and energize a collaborative team. You will coach staff, drive sales, and ensure an exceptional customer journey on the floor, in fitting rooms, and at the cash wrap.

This role reports to the Store Manager and contributes to a thriving, inclusive store culture across multiple locations. The position requires 2+ years in retail supervision, strong organizational skills, and flexibility to work evenings,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in team management or supervision in a retail or customer-focused environment.
• Ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience and engage the team in upholding high service standards.
• Strong skills in organization, planning, and prioritization.
• Ability to maintain performance under pressure and lead a team to achieve objectives.
• Proven ability to drive sales performance and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting.
• Passion for fashion with a good sense of style and knowledge of trends.
• Proficient in POS, ERP, ATS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexible availability; able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods; lift up to 40 lbs and reach up to 3 m with a ladder.
• High school diploma required.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Support & Coaching: Inspire and develop a high-performing team in a positive environment. Maintain an active presence on the sales floor to guide and motivate.
• Customer Experience: Deliver an outstanding experience and prioritize customer satisfaction above tasks.

• Flexible availability; able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg), and use a step ladder reaching up to 3 m (10 feet).
• High school diploma required.
