We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join us as an Assistant Store Manager at our new Lindt Chocolate Shop in Promenades St. Bruno. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong sales orientation, and a keen interest in merchandising.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the daily operations of the Lindt Chocolate Shop
  • Support efforts to generate and increase corporate sales
  • Model exemplary customer service and establish service standards
  • Monitor sales and labor metrics daily to maximize profitability while maintaining high customer service standards
  • Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of retail sales staff
  • Supervise store staff to optimize customer experience, sales, and profitability
  • Assist in training staff on sales techniques and product knowledge
  • Manage inventory through timely ordering and stock control, focusing on loss prevention
  • Perform daily cash reconciliations, paperwork, payroll, and administrative tasks
  • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and focus on achieving sales goals while controlling expenses
  • Contribute to ongoing staff performance management, including performance reviews
  • Ensure store presentation aligns with company standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and food/product safety standards
  • Handle cash, manage inventory orders, and perform other retail administrative duties

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education
  • 1-2 years of retail management experience and 2-5 years in retail
  • Experience in hospitality or restaurant industries is preferred
  • Background in merchandising or visual presentation
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects efficiently
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • A track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Strong sales and selling skills
  • A genuine passion for chocolate
