Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. in Richmond, BC, is seeking an inspirational Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading, coaching and developing the Sales Associates team to deliver outstanding sales, service and store operations.

Candidates should bring proven supervisory and retail operations experience, inventory and cash handling skills, and comfort working retail hours, including nights and weekends; familiarity with POS software and Microsoft Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven retail experience preferably within cosmetics.
• The ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
• Previous supervisory experience with a proven track record of coaching/mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets.
• Retail operations experience including inventory management and cash reconciliation.
• Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced work environment.
• Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Sales Associates to achieve sales, customer service and operational targets.
• Support Store Manager to develop the team and drive store performance.
• Assist with inventory management and cash reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain proficiency with retail POS software and standard reporting.
• Provide inspirational, authentic customer service and a positive store atmosphere.
• Support scheduling and events to maximize customer engagement.
