Designer Brands Canada is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Shoe Co. banner to lead and coach the shop team, ensuring outstanding customer experiences and achieving sales goals.

The role reports to the Store Manager and drives in-store and web order performance while maintaining brand standards. The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years in a progressive retail supervisory role, can manage weekends and closing shifts, and fosters teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven success in achieving sales and profitability targets.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Minimum 2–3 years in progressive retail supervisory role.
• Flexibility to work days, closing shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead store environment and coach team to achieve store objectives including in-store sales and web orders.
• Recruit, manage, develop and train top talent who love shoes.
