Reporting to the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager will provide excellence in customer service, demonstrate leadership by managing employees, and effectively plan store operations.
Provide efficient and courteous customer service, acting as a role model.
Resolve customer complaints effectively according to established guidelines.
Lead by providing positive and effective resolutions to customer and team concerns.
Encourage store employees to take ownership of their performance and career development, with regular follow-ups.
Maintain ongoing communication with internal colleagues across departments to improve overall business results.
Coordinate with company buyers on inventory purchases and supervise merchandising efforts.
Promote Shoppers Home Health Care sales through personalized advice and consultation.
Manage and maintain inventory of materials and products.
Plan and execute events successfully.
Achieve staffing objectives through recruiting and evaluating candidates.
Schedule employees efficiently to enhance productivity and profitability.
Train staff continuously to meet company standards.
Implement security and safety programs to protect assets and ensure safety.
Pursue succession planning for employee development.
Ensure employee awareness of safety and emergency procedures.
Support store operations, policies, and procedures.
Promote a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging.
Strong communication and presentation skills for instructing individuals and groups.
Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Compliance with health and safety regulations.
