This position is for the day shift with typical store hours between Monday – Friday, 7 AM AM to 6 PM, Saturday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday, 10 AM to 4 PM.
Dulux Paints, a PPC Company, is immediately hiring an Assistant Store Manager for Full Time. In this role, you will lead the store in the absence of the manager. This is a progressive career path opportunity with potential to grow into a store leadership role. Our retail store locations are the first point of contact for our customers. Reporting to the Store Manager, your role will include inventory management, daily cash deposits, and managing store operations.
Assistant Store Manager Main Responsibilities:
• Open and close the retail branch.
• Advise and serve customers, including assessing their needs, proposing solutions, tinting, mixing and matching paint products.
• Work in a retail environment, ensuring the store is clean and well-stocked.
• Lift, move, and store products according to safety guidelines.
• Lead employees in the manager's absence.
Assistant Store Manager Qualifications:
• A high school diploma. A college diploma is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory or lead position in a retail / commercial trade environment.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a customer service role in a retail / commercial trade environment.
• Ability to lift 50-80lbs regularly throughout the day.
• Fluency in English, written and verbal a must.
• 40 hours per week availability - weekday, including early mornings, and weekend availability.
• A high energy, positive attitude with a customer-first mindset.
• The confidence to assess the customer's needs and advise solutions and work well with a team.
