The Role:

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager at our Richmond Centre location! Join our growing team at JD Sports Canada. Your main responsibilities will include delivering excellent customer experiences, fostering team growth, and ensuring operational excellence through managerial tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and employee performance evaluation.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable about all products.
  • Train and develop a team focused on delivering exceptional experiences through coaching and feedback.
  • Achieve sales targets and key KPIs.
  • Manage sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual presentation, and operations.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, sales associates, and store leadership.
  • Share expertise on products and trends to meet customer needs.
  • Stay informed about current and upcoming products and trends.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Support key initiatives in partnership with the Store Manager.
  • Proactively grow the business through community outreach.
  • Prioritize company culture, personal growth, and self-awareness.
  • Provide outstanding customer experiences consistently.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge Needed:

  • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience.
  • Passion for streetwear and sneaker culture.
  • Experience supervising, training, and coaching sales associates.
  • Confident in engaging customers and delivering elevated experiences.
