Job summary

Dollarama in Cambridge, Ontario is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily retail operations, drive sales, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role acts as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager’s absence and leads a team to deliver exceptional performance.

You will oversee staffing, merchandising, cash handling, safety, and training, while maintaining our visual standards and achieving store goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of retail experience.
• At least two years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with daily operations and staff management.
• Support merchandising, stocking, and processing daily shipments.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues.

Daily Tasks (but not limited to)

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
