Our client is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to provide support for their busy kiosk located in NE, Calgary.

This integral role will provide support to the Store Manager, and will strive to inspire the current staff to bring out performance-driven values to increase store sales. The ideal candidate must be confident working in a retail-type setting and will thrive connecting with people from all over the world.

*Candidates must have flexibility to work early mornings and late nights in accordance with retail/store hours.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Developing sales targets/goals for the team
• Working alongside the current sales staff, helping them increase sales and implement strategies to hit goals
• Training new staff members as needed
• Interact with customers to determine needs and build rapport
• Pitch products and upsell where possible
• Explain any promotions or offers available
• Maintaining a clean workspace
• Supporting the Store Manager with various tasks as required
• Any other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Class 5 driving license and reliable vehicle are required

Experience:

• Previous retail experience is required
• Previous retail management is considered a strong asset

Base Salary: $55,000 – 65,000 per year

• Based on experience
• Bonus eligibility (based on store performance)

Work Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Flexibility to work early mornings and late nights is required
• Available to work Monday – Sunday

Additional Notes:

• This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
