Dollarama in Beamsville, Ontario is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily retail operations, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer service. You will stand in as Store Manager on Duty when needed, lead a small team, and help maintain a fast-paced, friendly store environment.

Responsibilities include merchandising, stock handling, training, cash management, opening and closing procedures, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of retail experience.
• At least two years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to coach and develop employees.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
• Cash handling and opening/closing procedures.

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales goals. Acts as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager’s absence.

Daily Tasks (but not limited to)

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
