Job summary

A leading sports club in Downtown Toronto is searching for a dedicated professional to service Membership with a variety of squash programming. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a club environment, exceptional squash skills, and a passion for building community relationships. This role includes teaching lessons, managing events, and providing overall support to enhance member experiences, requiring weekend work.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a club environment preferred.
  • Possess NCCP Club Coach Certification.

  • Help with Racket Stringing & Gripping.

  • Pay or shift range: $50,000 CAD to $90,000 CAD

    The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
Description

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Service the Membership with Lessons, Clinics & other Programming
  • Racket Stringing & Gripping
  • Assist the Head Pro with Event Management
  • Pro-Am
  • Club Championships
  • Canada Cup or Pro Exhibitions
  • Other events as needed
  • Assist Head Pro with House League & Pro Shop as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a club environment preferred
  • Possess NCCP Club Coach Certification (Competition Intro) preferred
  • Possess good communication & interpersonal skills

Compensation:

Total compensation expected to be approximately $70k+

Base pay $18,000.00
90% Commissions on Lessons & Clinics
Commissions on stringing

The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit, to build lessons, clinics & other squash programming, bringing high quality squash skills & knowledge, cultivating friendly relationships with members to provide a first-class experience. Weekend work will be required, and will work with the Head Professional to find a schedule that works best to service the membership.
